Christopher T. Assaf's curriculum vitae. Assaf is a Ph.D. student in the School of Journalism and Media at The University of Texas at Austin. In 2020 he earned his Journalism Master's in Arts and continued into the doctoral program. His research interests include visual communication, the sociology of photojournalists, journalism history, and White House news photographers' embodied practice within visual political communication.
